I think it used to be....View > Sidebar > Bookmarks.
&...If you require to find any Bookmark in a folder there's a good little extension for that.

I finally found a way to add the bookmark menu, from Overflow. It's now always open.

See if this works for you:

I often take a long windy road to my destination. Upon arrival, I wonder how I missed the shortcut.

Last shot at how to locate the installation of Firefox1
First option:
* Start > Settiings > Control Panel
* Programs & Features
It might be Start > Settings > Programs & Features
This should open a panel where you uninstall programs
On the line with Name - Publisher - Size - Version - etc
there should be a column for "Location"
This is where the program should is installed and you should find Firefox1.

Second Option:
* Start Firefox1
* Enter in the URL line about:support
Scroll down to Application Binary
This should be the location of the installation of Firefox1 executable is located

Thanks for the suggestions. Apparently, the problem was due to downloading the FF installer from the MicroSoft Store. After downloading directly from Mozilla, the new install of FF now appears on drive C: under Programs. The MS app also seemed to be an older version of FF. On my phone, I get apps from the Google Store. But, after this encounter, I'll be shy of the MS Store on my new PC.
