crashlog reporter still active?
I crashed today and got the crashlog reporter asking me to send info to <somewhere>. Is the destination still active and you get the logs? I just wanted to make sure I didn't waste my time sending the info.

The https://crash-stats.mozilla.org/home/product/Firefox is still a key tool used to help track problematic or unique crashes.

Mozilla has their own community support forum at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions

*.MozillaZine.org is independent and is not a part of nor run by mozilla.org https://www.mozillazine.org/about/ and there are no *.mozilla.org links on top and or bottom like most *.mozilla.org sites has.Justinh wrote:Is the destination still active and you get the logs?

Re: crashlog reporter still active?
I figured the devs could tell me if they get access to the logs.
So are you saying the SM logs get put in the same repository as the Firefox logs?

Offhand, not sure if SeaMonkey (are we talking about SeaMonkey here ?) still has (a workable) crash report system?
What does about:crashes show?
Did you submit the crash?
Was a URL generated & are you able to open it & view the report?
(On my end, I've not had any crashes at least since March 2021.)

Re: crashlog reporter still active?
Mozilla kicked us out of the crash reporter site. They only allowed Thinderbird back in after some fuzz from them. We are not worthy. ewong is trying to fix up our the crash reporter site but is swamped with other work. It is slowly coming back on. If someone has a repeatable crash best to post details to reproduce it in in the SeaMonkey section here or at least the crash id so that I can ask ewong.

Interesting - I didn't know about about:crashes. Yes, there is a URL going to crash-reports-test.seamonkey-project.org
