I have a couple of technophobic senior relatives who keep forgetting some basic things, like how to use the URL bar to enter in an address, how to change between tabs when a new tab is opened, etc.
All the can remember how to do is click on links and figure out how to use the bookmarks toolbar I set up that includes a link to "google" and Gmail.
Could somebody recommend some good tutorials for such seniors? I haven't looked at a tutorial for web browsers since Netscape 2.02 and I'm hoping that somebody else would know off the top of their head instead of me having to wade through tons of them to find a good one for seniors in order to separate the wheat from the chaff.

You can find technology tutorials for seniors on public library websites. You could ask your local librarian for advice.

Re: Tutorial for seniors?
In my experience, if someone is really technophobic or really senior then written tutorials are pretty much a waste of time. The information given just doesn't go in or is constantly interpreted incorrectly.slickrcbd wrote:I have a couple of technophobic senior relatives who keep forgetting some basic things...
However, what does seem to work is visual information, so I suggest you just find a good video on the subject.
Here's one I quickly found and watched about 5 minutes of. It seems OK -
