Avanti, which I had to uninstall because of frequent systems crashes, had a nice feature I would like to see in Phoenix: a one-click "clear" button on the toolbar which cleared EVERYTHING one might want for privacy: history, cookies, etc etc. Handier than the Mozilla/Phoenix/IE system of several steps to do the same thing. It was also customizable to clear only what you want to clear. Cheick it out. I've not seen this on any other browser around.

IE and privacy
Not a bad idea, but I scoff at the idea that IE will do the same thing for you at all. Win98 has well hidden, OS-protected, files in the IE Temporary Internet Files directories that Explorer refuses to show. If you do Find|Files for index.dat you'll see some, and you can then right-click and set them to Read-only. Better still is to restart into DOS where you can delete them and be rid of whatever it is IE has been logging. Then when they reappear, probably a lot smaller now, Find and mark them Read-only.
Am I paranoid? It gave me the creeps when I found out about the hidden files. And no, setting Folder Options to show ALL files still hides these! This is my last Windows machine.

In Opera: File -> Delete private data...
- deletes temporary cookies
- deletes all cookies
- deletes password protected pages and data
- deletes entire cache
- clears history of visited pages
- clears history of typed-in addresses
- clears history of visited links
- clears history of transferred files
- clears all e-mail accounts passwords
- clears all wand (= autocomplete in Op7) passwords
You might select one or more of these, then -> OK
Useful when you're browsing on pc that's not one of yours...

Phoenix security
I use a simple batch file to delete files I don't want to keep. They are easily found using MyComputer ---> Search.
There are some stubborn files which won't delete; I made them all 'ReadOnly'. After weeks and weeks, I can't tell any difference in them, so I don't think the spys which put them there are getting any viable info on me.

It's probably doubtful that this will get added into Phoenix.
That doesn't mean that somebody couldn't write an extension to do this.
Hmmm... I can see it now: an extension that shows an icon of a policeman on the toolbar which deletes all those things, removes all tabs and other browser windows, and sets the remaining browser window displaying a pre-specified web page... for when your boss, parent, spouse, etc. walks in on you...!
