A minor suggestion
Some really good ideas in the ~600 postings so far. Many just eye candy, which is not to my tastes, but I did particularly like the space saving suggestions, and the efficiency-improving tips. Nothing much better on mine, so I wont post it. (That way I wont have to clean the image of reverences to "naked dwarf mud wrestling".)
Just might mention my navigation cluster that is working really well for me, I have "Tab Mix Plus" setup to open outside pages in a new tab, to the right of the current, and in event of a closing a tab it gives focus back to the next left tab. Then using the "Custom Buttons" extension, I put a "Close Tab" button (found on their forum) right next to the Back button. Now, when I have followed a series of links, and want to back-out from several pages down a dead-end, I just go for the "Back" button. Click until it turns gray, then click the "Close tab" button, then "Back" some more...
Seems a significant reduction in therbligs, and I dont have to clutter the tabs with "Close" buttons. To be symmetrical, I probably should have a "Undo Close Tab" next to my Forward button, but I got lazy, and it is relatively rare that I close a tab that I am not done with.

Fairly standard really, considering I use the default theme. But the interesting point is that I use the Tiny Menu extension for space saving even further. I'm a bit of a spacenazi, and haven't found any themes which have both small icons and that look nice on Windows XP's Royale Blue theme.
