shift+print scr and print scr do the same thing. alt+print scr only takes a screenshot of the current window, not the entire screen.

When pressing either alt or shift+ prt scr, what should I see next & where should the shot be stored?

as said multiple times before, its copied to the clipboard. open paint or some other image program and paste. then save it wherever u want.

note: pressing shift makes no difference while pressing print scr. the two key combos are just print scr to copy the entire screen or alt+print scr to copy only the current window.

Thanks again CF650...It worked.
All this time I didn't know it went to the clipboard.
Thank you, I really learned something here today, HAPPY

By the way:
Movern has asked:
How do you get your sidebar to appear on the right instead of the left. Is this some sort of extension that gives this option?

To display the Sidebar on the right side of the window instead of the left, add the following code to your userChrome.css file:

Code: Select all

/* Place the sidebar on the right edge of the window  */
window > hbox {
   direction:rtl;
}
window > hbox > * {
   direction:ltr;
}

or use this xtn

To ColdFusion650
where someone said exactly the same thing

Yep, You're quite right. I saw suddenly Movern's question and the Greg S's answer was on the second page. I really haven't seen the answer. I'm sorry for this inconvenience. OK, at least I suggested an xtn Sidebar on Right . I hope this suggestion will decrease more-less my mistake.

I edited the post with another version and gave the reason why for me it worked better. Can someone try the original(first snippet i posted and the one @zoriv posted) and see if it fubbers up let's say forecast fox options window?
Thanks

There's sidebar extensions like All in One Sidebar, and other more simpler ones to change where the sidebar is, looks, and other settings etc!
