File extensions bug? Edit/Add/Delete file associations?

So I was downloading a .efx (efax document) from my webmail. I clicked on advanced, and made "application/octet-stream" with the .efx extension open with efaxviewer.exe.

Then I went to download bearshare, and the "save" window came up with this filename:

bearshare.exe.efx

Uh, that's not right. Is this a bug? Or did I screw things up? Couldn't find the place if there is one to edit these associations, and I couldn't delete the association from the advanced panel once I made it.
