Hi. I've just installed FF3. Great browser.

I'm still experiencing an issue I had with the RCs. The issue is this:

In my Vista power options, I set my computer to sleep after 15 minutes of inactivity (for testing I set it to 1 min).
If I download a large file in IE, my computer will wait till the file is downloaded and then, 15 minutes later, it will sleep.

However, with Firefox, my computer will go to sleep 15 minutes after I stop using my keyboard and mouse. Thus, either my download is ruined if I leave it or I have to set my computer to never sleep.

Is this a Vista or Firefox problem? Has anyone else noticed this? Thanks.

That would be Vista. As the OS is controlling the shut down procedure, it is obviously not realizing that the browser is active and a download is still in progress. This isn't an issue with IE as it is integrated with the OS.

Awww. I wonder if there are any workarounds in the registry. Or is there another lawsuit pending. ;)
