Extension Manager
I decided to check in my Extension Manager on the trunk to make it easier for us to debug issues with web services etc so you may notice strange UI that suggests that you have extensions installed that you don't. Don't worry about it, it's only a testing file. The mismatch dialog you might see on startup should appear only once.
I recommend steering clear of as much of this UI/functionality as possible in the next week or three since it's pretty broken right now and really does nothing useful yet.
Please don't file any bugs on any of this yet - it's very very far from done. I'll post here announcing when the feature is ready for testing.

That's not a good idea for this thread. People will keep thinking its ready for testing. He will make a new sticky thread when the manager is ready for testing as he sees fit.
However, a small sticky in the bugs forum is a good idea to remind people that those UI quirks are not a problem.

Nothing about it there. I am not going to go running all over the internet chasing down issues. If it is mozilla or part of mozilla corporation stuff, I'll look here on mozillazine.

While it is mentioned in Ben's blog, this thread will be of particular interest to Extention/Theme developers
http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=73423
It references Ben's new guide: Writing Firefox/Thunderbird Extentions (for FF 0.9, future TB releases)
Mostly added this since Peter's update thread links to this post

People interested in the new extension manager and more feedback from ben should follow this thread in the Extension Forum.
