I think the update system will be live (within Firefox), but I'm not so sure about the actual page itself.

Worrying about mirrors. I have an idea.

Make it available by torrent too as the Mozilla Suite.

I was thinking the same thing, which is why I asked Ben how many mirror sites there were. pryan's site has a BitTorrent tracker, and if he or I managed to D/L the official builds before the mirrors went under from the strain, we could put up the torrent on his webspace and he could seed from his network, thus alleviating the strain.

Yeah, put up a Torrent. I'm sure many people will do that anyway when they get it.

Get a 0.9 nightly and see yourself :)

There are mostly cosmetic changes, bugfixes and brand new managers for themes and extensions. 0.9 will be the best Fx release ever.

I just wanted to say something about the lunch of 0.9

Since every major firefox version has caused major down time on server. Why not this time Pre Announced the release date. ( So that every body/website will know/post on news )

And have a torrent ready to download. So all those who are ultra anixous to get the latest firefox would proberly get them first on BT.

Then may be xx hours later you could post it on the web as a FTP/HTTP download.

BT does help greatly to reduce the bandwidth cost ^^

If a torrent is released, I'll gladly seed for a day or so, as well as mirroring the installer as I did before.
