Phoenix also should be Ok if it is not an "TM", now, trade mark "Fire bird" belongs to Mozilla.org, that's OK I think, same name doesn't mean they could not exist at the same time.

Hurra for Fire Bird and Thunder Bird
Sorry to prefer birds to metal monsters - the next names will be easier to find.
That is not really a surprise.
Happy that the change did not affect the logos ( great birds of fire ) That counts.

I like the new name. Especially since Firebird is more or less equivalent to Phoenix, although I wish they could have kept the old one.
And by the way, there was no American car called the Camino. Calling an El Camino a Camino is like calling a Trams Am an Am. And while Ford made the Thunderbird, Pontiac made the Firebird.
