Well, do you have a link to the page? Did you create the home page and fi so what did you use? Some microsoft programs chose to use the wrong slash (\ instead of /) when saving locations to files (for images and such) which work fine in IE because they hack the browser to death to accept all sorts of wierd crap. FF on the other hand handles only valid URLs and paths.

Firefox 0.9.x have some display problems that Mozilla's seamonkey version does not seem to have. bug #250023 for example. The general comcast.net page looked only a little different in Fx though... namely that the sign-in box's border is a little bit into the text next to it. On Moz 1.7.1, there is a little bit of white space in between.

I am current comcast user and I have noticed this for awhile. Everything on the comcast page works fine expect the assistant (tool that is on the right side of the screen). Assistant is to show customize favorite things like lastest movies, weather, etc. And the assistant tool doesn't work when using FF. And the other thing that doesn't work is the "Fan" icon at the top of the website. That feature only works in IE, so that is why comcast has a link in the middle page for people to click on.

Incorrect. They use a javascript Flash detection script so that if Flash is installed it gets used for the left column menus (and something else - I forget as I no longer have Flash installed).
The page displays correctly for me - with or without Flash.
A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Mine has wandered off and I'm out looking for it.
