Flexible Search window

Post by ehume »

The Phoenix Search window is a marvelous beast, allowing us to search on the page, at dmoz.org and Google. It works great.

I put the Search window up on the Menu bar (using View > Toolbars > Customize). This allows my URL window to have lots of room. Yet with only the Menu items and my Search window on the Menu bar, there is a lot of empty space.

I would like to fill the space by enlarging my Search window to stretch to the right margin. Either a manual stretch (a la MS Office apps) or an automatic stretch (see, e.g., the Flexible Space in View > Toolbars > Customize).

Anybody agree?

Thank you. The second thread gave me exactly what I needed.
