Firefox 45.0.2

Windows 7 Home Premium, version 6.1, build 7601, Service Pack 1

Is there any way to set Firefox to always mute certain domains?

Let's say I want the YouTube.com domain to always be mute, by default. Is that possible to achieve?

I'd like to second this wish.
The "Mute Tab" feature is very nice (many thanks to the developers! :-)) but it would be even better if Firefox could remember which sites were muted for later tabs/sessions.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/mutelinks/?src=api

This addon manages list of domains which will be muted after loading.
