Duplicate add-on selections on view toolbar menu

Post by Mozilla Daily »

Somehow when I installed add-on toolbars, their names appeared twice in the toolbar menu. When I click on one two of them are checked or unchecked. I checked the extensions page. It does not show any toolbars I added were installed twice. How can I get rid of the extra lines on my view toolbar menu without disabling the add-on toolbars?

Right click on the home button or any empty area of the tab bar and un-tic what ever bar you want to hide. Can also be removed in the Customize pallet at the bottom left... Show/hide tool bars

You misread my post. I don't have extra bars. What I want to get rid of are duplicate listings of those bars in the right-click menu.

Well, those extra toolbar listings didn't just pop up out of nowhere - they are most likely the result of buggy toolbar installation code. So get ahold of the toolbar developers, and yank their chains a little . . .
