How can I design my own theme please? It used to be possible to use your own theme without necessarily sharing it, is that still possible?

Full themes are generally not compatible with version 57 or later of Firefox.

For the lightweight themes, I believe you can make without having to post/share the theme using Personas Plus.

Thanks. I would simply like to design my own header background (I don't mind sharing it if that helps). I isn't clear from the description of Personas on the link suggested whether it enables design or just more selection options; is it compatible with FF57?

Seems to work. After installing, click the button that appears on your toolbar, then use the Custom tab to set the colors and the custom header image.
