Problem : History

hello

this problem has been existing for years : please, why the people at firefox cannot solve it ?

i do use GOOGLE MAPS a lot

problem 1 : firefox does register EVERY move = i've got 10000s of google maps lines in the history !

problem 2 :
> menu : show hisrtory
> in the field (upper right) "Search history" i put some keyword like /maps so i get all google maps line
> i want to delete them, 10000s of them
= it NEVER works or woorks POORLY = error message about some script, etc.

any idea?
