CTRL+Enter not working in address bar for v0.4

Post by Sinned »

I'm running Phoenix 0.4 in Windows 98.

When I type in a URL in the address bar and press CTRL+Enter to open the page in a new tab, the URL is magically prefixed with "www." and suffixed with ".com/" before Phoenix tries to open the URL. Of course, it doesn't work. The last build I was using was 0.2, so did this keystroke combination change since then? Just wondering.

http://texturizer.net/phoenix/keyboard.html

That is, as far as I know, an up to date list of keyboard shortcuts.

Ok

Ok, thanks, I see it now. Ctrl+Enter now completes a .com address. According to that page, Alt+Enter now supposedly opens the URL in the address bar in a new tab, but 0.4 doesn't seem to do that either. I need my "open URL in new tab window" feature! :(

make sure to remove your old profile from old versions of phoenix and use a new profile.

also, you can try grabbing the latest nightly build (make sure to use a new profile for it too).

Yes, the list is up to date. It includes all known keyboard shortcuts in Phoenix.

Yesm, I deleted my old profile and started a new one. No bones. Not a big deal, I probably missed a step between deleting the old Phoenix folder and unzipping the new one ;)

yeah...always remove everything before loading up your new copy of phoenix.

Otherwise, try the latest nightly....
