Hi Guys,

That is not a "big bug" ... but anyway.
When visiting some pages, for example forums the particular threads could be really long.
Downloading such pages from the server takes time no matter what (I am on 24Mbit/sec broadband)

Previous version of FireFox were correctly showing hourglass until all page is flashed.
3.5 does not show it at all.
That is very inconvenient, because the user is under impression that all was done, but as soon as you try to scroll down - the page will annoyingly "scroll back", as you know...
Not having hourglass indication makes it very inconvenient, since you have to watch the left corner where there is "Transferring data from...." until "Done" is displayed.

My regards

Thank you for reply, James
and pointing to existing thread...

Well, I did say that was not a "big bug" ... but I must say now that it is a BUG! if such thing was deliberately removed... and I may agree with others who are disappointed by such "move"

Excuse me guys! ... but there are some standards already established.... woW!

What is next? hitting Tab button will not move to the next Control but Shutdown the computer? Why not?!

Cheers!

Why they took that feature out is anyone's guess, it seems like regression to me. At the very least provide an option to put it back in about:config.

Someone posted yesterday that there is a fix but I haven't seen it yet. Hopefully someone will provide us with an addon.

A regression is when something broke versus being intended to happen.

Hi James,

Probably that is not the regression per se, but that is happen to be intentionally broken standard rule :)
... which is seriously - not good at all.

Cheers

Call it what you want then, it was a needless step backwards.

People get used to features that they like and then all of a sudden they're gone for no reason. Was there a huge outpouring of complaints over the hourglass? Not that I know of, they removed it simply on a whim because one of the developers decided they didn't like it.

I came here searching for this assuming it was a bug too. I can't believe it's been removed intentionally. Very disappointing.
