XML Pretty Printing

I have self made XML files on my computer. When I load them in Phoenix, I either get the values only, or I get a beautified version of the XML. I keep on double clicking the file, or simply reloading the XML. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to it. It seems like it has a mind of it's own, want to either show the XML nicely or not.

Am I the only one getting this? I don't have Mozilla installed, so I don't know if it's a Mozilla-engine issue, or a Phoenix issue.
