ASK comes up for Firefox.

Post by Thumping »

For the last few days I have deleted everything having to do with Firefox, Mozilla, maintenance, etc. I have tried downloading several different versions of Firefox, cleaning the computer each time, but when Firefox comes up it is the ASK ME search engine. Any ideas on how to fix this? Ask Me is nowhere in the computer's control panel or programs.

Moving to Firefox Support as no bug has been identified here. This may be a malware issue.

Install and run these programs, consecutively, not simultaneously.

If these don't find it or can't clear it, post in one of these forums for specialized malware removal help:
