The above error message, "DXVA2D3D9 video decoding is disabled due to a previous crash," lives in my "about:support" page. I recall getting DXVA error messages in previous FF full versions, but not their exact content. The value for "Supports Hardware H264 Decoding" is "No; DXVA2D3D9 crashes detected in the past." I have noticed that after several days, FF will sometimes quickly slow to a crawl, then crash. It also likes to crash at random sometimes. Thanks for any assistance.

Ah, ok, thanks. I just updated to FF 46.0, but I already have "(#0) Error Too many dropped/corrupted frames, disabling DXVA" in about:support. So create new profile, yes?

Seems fixed at least as of FF 47.0.1. This is my current readout, note that "Supports Hardware H264 Decoding" now states "Yes."
