Strange Box Appears

hi guys over the past week ive been on facebook and ive noticed a slight change,first of all when scrolling through my newsfeed some pictures arnt visable just white and also takes a bit longer to load the page..then the past few days a box always appears saying its from facebook called an `xti.php` file which asks me to open or save..im no computer geek and im a bit worried it could be a virus..if its possible id like to know what it is & how to get rid of it
