Dual Monitor Does not move acorss screens properly

Post by Biker18914 »

Hi,
I have a dual monitor set-up. I open firefox on monitor 1. As I move it across to monitor 2, it does not move correctly. The right side on ff stays at the edge on monitor 1 but moves to monitor 2 correctly.
I need the right side of ff to move off the screen.
Thanks

If I understand correctly, once you move it to monitor 2, you may have to make it full screen (maximized) in order for it to be contained on monitor 2.

Thanks.
But is there a patch that will allow it to be across both monitors.
This did work correctly then stopped.
(I do not know what updates were applied. The computer is used my an other person.)

It works for me -- no patch needed.

If, for example, Firefox is on your left monitor, you can try dragging the right-hand side (of Firefox) across to the other monitor -- Firefox should then be across both monitors.

Of course, I don't know what settings the other computer user may have applied. You may have to ask.
