Hi!
Only the arrow appears of the doorhanger menu. I don't know if it was always like this on FF56 stable, since I don't use many WE extensions. But this bug brakes many extensions. Does anyone know what's going on?
I tested with a brand new profile, here's a screencap:
Webextension button doorhanger menus are broken

This is messed up... If I load the same profile in Lawlietfox (custom build) it starts working. Yet, it's also broken on my main profile which I use with Lawlietfox...

My first thought seeing this would be that the extensions' HTML/CSS/JS files are not found by the browser, hence the popup panel is not being filled.

Thanks for the tip. Meanwhile I filed a bug, where it was implied that extensions.webextensions.remote might be of relevance.gorhill wrote:My first thought seeing this would be that the extensions' HTML/CSS/JS files are not found by the browser, hence the popup panel is not being filled.
Though it helped when I enabled it on the profile I originally tested with, it didn't for my main profile, where it remained broken.

Maybe try a diff of `about:support`s "Copy text to clipboard" of both profiles -- maybe something will stand out.avada wrote:it didn't for my main profile, where it remained broken.

Not likely. My main one is heavily customized.gorhill wrote:Maybe try a diff of `about:support`s "Copy text to clipboard" of both profiles -- maybe something will stand out.avada wrote:it didn't for my main profile, where it remained broken.

Are you using the mozilla.cfg file with the test profile?

Okay, it seems I figured it out. apz.allow_zooming;true breaks the menus. Can anyone confirm?
(Also I had no trouble installing the extensions.)
I had it there but it doesn't seem to be relevant. I tried it now with using it and without. Doesn't make a difference.morat wrote:Are you using the mozilla.cfg file with the test profile?
