FF 60 audio bug.....maybe?

Post by Necronomicon »

I don't know if this is a bug with firefox, but let's say it is. Because, I just noticed it with Youtube.

I have SB ZX sound card.

And only when forwarding/reversing streamline on Youtube via mouse or keyboard arrows at random sound starts to sound like it has distortion. It's not loud but just distorted (like saw waveform is influencing).
For now I only noticed it on FF and YT, didn't tried other streaming sites.
And after that, everything that plays sound has same effect.

No standalone video player, nor audio player does create this problem.

The only way to regain it back to normal is to reboot computer.

I think that it started to happen when FF 59 or 60 is introduced. Before that everything was fine.

Just to mention, I'm on optical connection with DTS to my speakers.

Does Windows Volume Mixer offer you other playback devices to test with?
Fire 750, bring back 250.

Except nVidia HDMI audio, SB ZX and SB ZX SPDIF, there are none.

This behavior only occurs on YT...well for now.
