Copied image has Firefox color management applied (Linux)

Post by JamieKitson »

I am finding that images copied from Firefox erroneously have Firefox's color correction applied. This does not happen if you save the image as a file and upload the file.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Set Firefox to non-default color management, eg:

2. Right click on an image -> copy.
3. Paste this image somewhere, eg, imgur.com, Gimp
Expected results: images should look the same.
Actual results: pasted image has been affected by color management.
eg:

I have tested other applications (Chrome and Gimp) and they do not exhibit this behaviour.

Version 86.0b6 (64-bit) Arch Linux
