Double pasting images into gmail

I recently noticed that in gmail under firefox, in Windows 10, pasting an inline image when composing a message results in the image being posted twice. This problem happens in Firefox, but not other browsers. And others I know who use Firefox on other computers have had the same problem, which I first noticed about a week ago.

Well, I don't know the procedure then to move what dzillag posted here to a bug post but, as I said, it's been happening to me since my FF update 2 days ago, including 30 minutes ago. Can you now consider this a bug report?

I have seen several reports and it happens with gmail here also. I'm not sure it's a Firefox issue.

What happens, for you, if you drag-n-drop the graphic INSTEAD of pasting it? I ask because that works for me.
