I have a strange problem. At first perform the following steps to reproduce bug:
1.) Open newest Firefox browser (on Windows; probably it appears on other platforms as well)
2.) Open the following sample page:
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/how-to-c ... windows-11
3.) Then click on menu
File->Print preview
4.) Click on button "print" (and select your favorite PDF printer)
5.) Compare Webpage on screen with what is printed into PDF file:
As you can see a lot of (mostly) horizontal thin lines are inserted which are neither visible in Webpage nor in print preview.
No, they are not inserted by @media print CSS styles.
No, its not an error by the PDF printer driver (I have checked it with 3 different)
No, its not a general problem (these lines do not appear in PDF output when printed from Google Chrome).
No, it doesn't matter if "Shrink to fit Page Width" in Page Setup is enabled or not
So its a bug in Firefox.
How do I get rid of these inserted lines in PDF file output?
Here is the PDF output file to download:

Confirmed.
Though if you enable "reader view" (F9) in FF, that gives you a clean output.
(Guessing it is more an issue with that site then anything else. Probably having to do with their constant page "header"; Home, Windows, Downloads...
If I "remove" that "header" [using uBlock], then the page also prints cleanly.)

Fire 750, bring back 250.

@therube:
Thank you for confirmation.
But I disagree with you that this is an issue with the site.
First of all I tried your idea and removed the <header> element from the page via Firefox WebDeveloper pane.
When I print the remaining page all the thin lines remain in the pdf printout.
I don't want to use uBlock; I don't want to use ReaderView;
I want to get Firefox working as every other browser (like Chrome or Vivaldi) for that page.
Again: This is clearly a bug in Firefox
I hope someone finds some modifications in CSS of webpage to get a more proper output.

Re: Bug: Firefox inserts various thin lines in PDF print out
It's something with that site. I tried saving to PDF and using Microsoft Print to PDF and both produced these lines in the output. I also tried printing from my website and blog and got no such lines. So it's not an always happens kind of thing. Interesting. I might poke around with that site for a bit to see what's causing it.
