I've been running FF2.xx for several months on an iMac with Leopard 10.5(.3), and I use a keyboard trigger in Quicksilver to run FF. (option-command-F)
I installed FF3 over top of FF2 today and since then, every time I use the Quicksilver keyboard shortcut, FF3 wants to open in safe mode. Is there any reason for this?
It's bad enough for me to roll back to FF2 (if I can, from TimeMachine) if there's no cure.
Any thoughts?

Re: Mac Quicksilver shortcut safe mode bug?
I downgraded to FF2.0.0.14 (by installing the dmg over top of FF3) and it's working again properly with Quicksilver's keyboard trigger.
So the bug appears to be some sort of incompatibility between FF3 and Quicksilver, on Leopard 10.5.3
Or a bug in FF3.

Re: Mac Quicksilver shortcut safe mode bug?
actually i had the same issue and thought about a quicksilver bug..
Aber finally getting into the habit of lunching firefox over the finder menu, i did a google search and figured out, if you start firefox with the option key pressed[1], it will boot up into safe menu.
That makes clear there is no "real" bug, but our/thier keystroke is falsely set..
Try pressing (option-command-F) just shortly, no safe-menu will pop up.

Re: Mac Quicksilver shortcut safe mode bug?
So the solution is to hit the keyboard very briefly to run the shortcut? Or alternatively, remove the Option part of the Quicksilver keystroke combination?
