High CPU usage on web page with Phoenix 0.4 (build 20021108)
I happened to get to this swedish site (not that I watch the crap known as Fame Factory). What caught my attention more than the actual site, was that the CPU load (on a P4 1.6 GHz, mind you) immediately got noticeable and was shown to be at around 40% according to the Task Manager.
The site: http://www.aftonbladet.se/noje/famefactory/
This 30-50% CPU load is regardless of the tab open as well. I still have the high CPU load when typing this post, as I have the site open in another tab in the same instance of Phoenix.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021108 Phoenix/0.4

After loading the page it drops back to 2%...

Weird, the page loads correctly and all that, but if I close it, I go to 0% load. I reopen and immediately get at least 30% again??
Update: Could it be because of the flash thing? Hover your mouse at the title image. Your mouse pointer will leave a trail after it. Perhaps that's very CPU intensive for some reason? But I get the slowdown even if not hovering the mouse there

I tried and the mouse cursor doesn't leave a trail
Not in the 0.4 Milestone and not in the november 12-build
Sorry, RAF

Really bogs me down in .4. Haven't tried a recent nightly.
Hmm, thatone keeps reloading data from the site for me
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021108 Phoenix/0.4
It makes the page get small jerking, though I guess since I'm sitting at a 10Mbit connection and download is basicly instant it might be a lot worse for slower connections(?)
It's probably some badly coded JS in the externally linked JS file, becuse turing of JS makes it go away.

Yes, they're doing something great: they attach a function to reload the page to the window.onerror event handler. Not really a good idea...

Hahahahaa!
That http://www.netformx.com site is a hoot!! Great programming job! LOL
I'm sorry, but I just thought that was pretty hilarious to watch the site constant reload every 1 second.
Using Phoenix 0.4 on XP SP1.

Yeah, that is what happens when people don't know what they are doing and only test their stuff in one browser.
