Fx 3.0.2/3.0.3 password bugs [non-ascii characters only]
As I heard on IRC, a new password bug [1] after update 3.0.1 ==> 3.0.2 will force a quick release 3.0.3 next week.
Affected are only passwords with no-ascii charactered passwords. Perhaps this is the reason, that I can find no threads on MZ about this. But German Firefox support forum is full of affected users [2], because German language has three popular non ascii characters, the so called "Umlaute" Ä, ä, Ö, ö, Ü, ü...

Passwords are not lost, but hidden
Edit: SUMO help

I added a note about the bug (in case it helps) to http://kb.mozillazine.org/User_name_and_password_not_remembered

Passwords still missing after upgrade to 3.0.3
Workaround:
Use notepad to open signons3.txt (located in the Firefox profile folder) and re-save it with encoding UTF-8.

3.0.3 is available now. If the password problem is affecting you directly use Help > Check for Updates to get 3.0.3 now, instead of waiting for notification.

German Support Forum:
3.0.3 updates helps and don't help.
So by some users something happened beside the bug, which is unknown at the moment.
They have to manage the workaround reported by Alice two posts above me, and passwordmanager will work fine.

It's been reported on irc that in 3.0.3 just adding a new password then restarting firefox fixes any carry-over problems.

If you can still reproduce this, please enable debugging per
https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox:Passwo ... _Debugging and attach here.
This would be very helpful

International Keyboards
This links shows pictures of international keyboards with special national characters, which are all non-ascii and cause the problems with the password manager at the moment.

I'm not sure if the problem I'm experiencing is the same.
After update to v3.0.3 I've noticed that Password Hasher extension sometimes stops working. It works fine when FF started after a while it stops working (it doesn't remember entered site keys and doesn't store new ones).
So, I've started investigating and came to conclusion that it stops working when "ImageBot" tries login to imageshack.us site. Well to make long story short FF password manager stops working when a script uses getAllLogins({}):
After little more experiments it turned out that when I open "Saved passwords" window it shows all the sites and passhash entries, but after pressing "Show passwords" it shows only regular sites and passhash entries gone until browser restart.
In the logs it shows:
