11-05 Nightly disfunctional?

Post by brechmos »

Hi, the 11-05 seems to be completely disfunctional. Nothing seems to work. Can anyone confirm this?

Same here on a W2K SP3 platform. After having removed everything, including profile info, I reinstall a 11-05 build and run it, but no menu item seems to work at all. I can only close the window.

Lots of fixes were ported over from trunk by Blake. Based on the replies in this thread, I will not bother downloading build 1105.

Win2K SP3 and RedHat 8 Completly dead.

Yes I am having the same problems. When the software loads I don't even get my home page before it craps out. I think all the new additions to the tree are going to need some spit and polish before we see a functional browser again :(.

even my cvs builds are frelled

even my cvs builds are frelled :(

had to resort to 0.4 ( I don't tend to bother with nighties, when I 'roll my own' )

of course neither releases nor nightlies have inspector.jar so mozengineer doesn't help theme dev :(

Worked fine without a problem on my work machine.
Didn't work on my home machine.

Nothing works on the menu except for Exit.
Can't type in a URL, etc.

Only difference is at home, I created a profile at home when running Nov. 4th build.
After reading this, I won'bother to erase the profile on my home machine, as I'm a bit short on time right now

Oh well, these builds will popup. At least we have people that work on phoenix that will check new stuff in even if it does make the nightly builds crash sometimes. I look foward to many of these bugs being fixed in 1106

Seems ok now

A 15 minutes old build looks quite ok now.
I don't see any noticeable problems.

Where did you get this 15 minutes old build? I keep checking and I only
see one from Nov 5.

Thanks!
