I don't want to disable javascript, only the code gives you the nagging "Are you sure you want to navigate away from this page? Help keep this content free. Please take one minute to complete a SPAM-free market research survey to gain access to this special content. Are you sure you want to leave? Press OK to continue, or Cancel to stay on the current page." http://youronlinemovies.net/preview.php?id=40319
This aint the only website that has that nag box or something similar to it when I try to close the browser window. It also gave me that nag box when I tried to refresh the page.

Does anybody know how to disable this nag window?

Wouldn't it be nice if adblock tracked this stuff and gave options within the program to look for this nag box on websites and disable the script before it can become a pain in the bottom? Seems like a good feature, same with the @#$@#$ netflix popunders that always seem to come through somehow if java script is turned on. I've blocked http://www.ad.doubleclick.com or whatever , but I know the netflix ad will be back like roid.

I propose a class action lawsuit against netflix , as we don't consent to their ad's in advance of visiting a particular website. The ad's require work to get rid of , and I propose that internet users sue for the price of the trillions of clicks this has caused, and that the going rate for "click through's" determine the level of damage sought. Netflix is a rash on the internet and their dishonest advertising degrades the internet experience for everyone. Class Action lawyers, please sue Netflix !!!

This is no doubt a problem caused by some application since it refers to a onbeforeunload even returning true (or false, not sure now) wich tells the browser to ask user if he really wants to leave the page

Developers messing up somewhere in the world

I see about the same tag on a lot of forums, except it will say "are you sure you want to log out?" or "do you really want to log out?"
(These will be for cell phone help, etc - Not Facebook)
I just assumed it was something a developer could add to the logout script so it didn't just say "log out". I'm waiting until the things say "expletive deleted" if you want to log out!

I've tried everything as well. 2 identical computers run the same programs, but only one gets this error. Clearing ALL COOKIES, so far has helped. It's not malware, but a means for advertisers to keep you on their page.

seems to me the advertisers are just making people not want to visit the site so if this script is from 1 advertiser the rest are getting short changed. on the site that does it to me you open to the home page and thats it, your stuck there. seems to me the site owner would be prompted by his other advertisers to kill this script and let people browse the site so all of the ads get exposure

I get this on a range of pages, not withstanding anything else that is running, etc. One recent page which prompted the search for a solution which led me here is http://pubget.com/paper/20837778, a site which sells scientific/medical journal articles (the number being a specific article). This "seems like" a "legit" site, but I've also seen it on things like porn sites, where you're really reluctant to click any "suspicious" buttons. This REALLY rubs me the wrong way. How can a site (like the journal article one) actually think this would make anyone anything but MUCH LESS inclined to utilize their services? AAARRRGH! It seems like just as soon as you find a way to block one annoying bit of web-based crap-peddling nonsense (such as pop-ups), the SOBs come up with another, like pop UNDERS, or this "Are you sure... " BS. I'd love to hear if others get this on the site I listed above.

temp fix for me as of 1-5-11 ,,,, click "tools" "error console" "clear all" this gave me around 3-6 clicks <sending requests Facebook game> after that i have to keep doing this process over and over to keep it down. i have noticed its only doing it on 1 of my computer profiles, two profiles same computer one does it one does not. i am thinking it is not facebook but JAVA that the problem is coming from as it happens to others on other sites aswell. maybe someone smarter then me can figure out something from this post.

Hey everyone, the culprit is Smiley Central. I didn't even realize it was installed but as soon as I deleted it, everything started working fine!

I've never even heard of, yet alone have installed, "Smiley Central", and I still get this. I doubt there's a relationship (why would there be?).
