Can anyone tell me what this plug in is all about? My security checks inform me this is questionable+not up to date?
I don't know why this is causing concern. It is version 1.0.1.1
Did this plug in mysteriously appear because I had to sync my iPhone?

Presumably it allows for easy interaction between iTunes and the iTunes Store while using Firefox. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes — it will update the plug-in for Firefox as well.

I've had that disabled for a long time now and it doesn't seem to affect my use of iTunes or the store.

I do have the latest version of iTunes,but it always comes u pas questionable. I will most likely disable it if it doesn't cause problems for iTunes nor the store.
