Clear Type Parms

This is what I'm seeing ... now what does all this mean ? And just what use is this providing to end user ?

For me it says: ClearType parameters not found :S

They are coming from the Windows Registry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Avalon.Graphics

Yeah, and they are affected by e.g. Win7's ClearType tuner. It makes it easy to see if there is a correlation between those values and reports about poor font rendering.
