Firebird Icon

Post by sj26 »

Hi all,

I didn't really think the firebird icon that currently is in 0.6 was spectacular, so I made my own. If you really wanted to, you could use a resource editor to replace the mozilla icons within the executable with these (like I did :P). Here's a preview:

(many of these use the alpha channel, so if you can't see 'em, it ain't my fault! update your browser [to Firebird! :D])

You can grab the whole set, including .ico files (windows xp nice ones, but with standard icons too), in this package:

firebird-icons [ TAR/BZ2 | ZIP ]
thunderbird-icons - [ TAR/BZ2 | ZIP ]

Looks like texturize.net is down. In any case, I've always used my own Firebird icon, so I know my way around. Thanks anyway. :D

I use several desktop icons for the various versions I have up. I've thought about changing the program icon too but haven't found it annoying enough to do something about it. At any rate, I prefer the pictures of a bird to a letter.

Looks a bit like the Macromedia Flash sign, but it's cool. Hey, feel like doing a blue "T" for Thunderbird (just an app icon)?
