I see this always in my Linux system but never in my Windows system, must be cookie related.

Could someone test this?
1. Go here https://github.com/mozilla/prospector/b ... trap.js#L1
2. Repeatedly click any line number.
3. Observe CPU usage // browser responsiveness.

Works fine for me even while I have a Flash vid playing but clicking a line number does spike the CPU (hit 70-80 percent).

Flash vid never had a hiccup and browser responsiveness degradation wasn't noticeable.

Do you have a reason for changing the default setting of dom.ipc.plugins.enabled?

Doesn't crash for me on the default of "true."
Check your add-ons and other plug-ins. Have you tried safe-mode with all add-ons disabled.
