redirects

this past week I can't get on most websites due to redirects - also getting something wrong with "script" == page looks funny to boot and machine very slow. What's going on??

Install and run these programs.
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
SuperAntispyware
AdAware

The advice for your described "redirect" problem that exists here is Inaccurate. The best advice is to do an Hyjackthis analysis with one of these better equipped forums. See : advice http://hjt-data.trendmicro.com/hjt/anal ... /index.php

HijackThis is old news. There's a better analysis tool out there now that the sites I suggested (as well as many others) use now instead of HJT.

Inaccurate? I think not. IMO, yours is the advice that is inaccurate these days.
