I just updated Camino to Version 2.1 (1.9.2.24 20111113195207) and now I can not get into Java based Yahoo bridge where I play everyday. Have 5 other browsers that have no problem getting me into Bridge so what has this version of Camino screwed up ?
What do I need to do to fix the problem so I may again use this browser to play bridge at Yahoo ?

Re: Camino 2.1 Released!
Just upgraded to Version 2.1 (1.9.2.24 20111113195207) and now I can not play Bridge at Yahoo where I have been playing every day for 13 years. What did this new version screw up and what do I need to do to fix this glitch so I may again use Camino to play bridge at the Java based Yahoo site?

Is Yahoo! Bridge using Java?

The recent Java update for OS X 10.6 has a broken communication problem with Camino . You can work around the problem by installing the JEP (Java Embed plugin) in the Internet Plugins folder inside your profile (~/Library/Application Support/Camino).

Re: Version 2.1 (1.9.2.24 20111113195207) BUG
Camino 2.1 no longer includes its own (internal) Java plug-in. Ordinarily Camino 2.1 would automatically use Apple's built-in Java Plug-In 2 on 10.6 and 10.7, but the last Apple Java update broke that
Since you appear to be on 10.6, though, you can download and install the Java Embedding Plugin, though, until either Apple fixes their bug or we figure out how to work around Apple's bug.

Am sure I am being very dense, but I download the Java Embedding Plugin and have not been able to figure out how to install it. I have a lovely little folder entitled JavaEmbeddingPlugin sitting there on my Desktop grinning at me, Help !

Inside that folder there is another folder named "binaries", the two files there need to be put into your "Internet Plugins" folder located inside your Camino profile folder. See phiw13 comment above.

First make sure you quit Camino. Inside the downloaded folder is a folder called "Binaries". Drag the two files in that "Binaries" folder into the Internet Plug-Ins folder inside your Camino profile:
/Users/<your-user-name>/Library/Application Support/Camino/Internet Plug-Ins/
The "JavaEmbeddingPlugin0.9.7.5" folder can then be trashed -- you can read and/or save the included text files if you want, but you don't need anything from the "Source" folder.
