On XP Pro SP3 I have gotten no crashes while surfing over the past few days with Stylish 1.2.4 enabled. However, with every build I have tested over the past few days "about:memory" crashes the browser immediately with Stylish enabled, but works fine with Stylish disabled. Clearly there is some problem with Stylish.

Thanks. I know about the bug and was just reporting my experience since for some Stylish doesn't seem to be the problem. Interesting.

Now is limit to a global history entries count: places.history.expiration.max_pages You got to create this as an integer entry if you don't like the default value, which related to your memory size

Places Expiration - MDN
https://developer.mozilla.org/En/Places_Expiration
places.history.expiration.max_pages: The maximum number of pages that may be retained in the database before starting to expire. Default value is calculated on startup and put into the places.history.expiration.transient_current_max_pages preference. This transient version of the preference is just mirroring the current value used by expiration, setting it won't have any effect.

Because fixed expiration date is too much arbitrary to define an expiration limit, other criteria are more relevant. In addition, actual computers are able to save large history storage files.
