Firefox 3.6.25 & TBird 3.1.17
A bit late, sorry about that (busy during holiday period), double update of my optimised builds for Firefox 3.6.25 and Thunderbird 3.1.17
I might have been able to get them out earlier but Mozilla don't seem to be publicising the release of those lines much and it's difficult for me to know when it's become official. A RSS feed just for releases doesn't seem to exist out there (none that update in time anyway), that would make it much easier for me to pick up the latest on time.
Well, enjoy for the time being.

I think there might be at least one more update to come. Information from Mozilla about this is hard to find.

It was thought that Firefox 3.6.29 was going to come out on April 24, however the 3.6 28 is going to be the last.

I can get this package or I would have to compile it?
firefox-3.6.28.es-ES.PPC.G4-7450.dmg
It's complicated compilation procedure?
Best Regards

RPMozley wrote:... download the official application for your particular language. Then inside the application's contents you go into "MacOS/chrome" and delete 'en-US.jar' & 'en-US.manifest' from optimised build and replace them with the corresponding files for the language you want to use from the official version.
NEOCRIVI
For your case it would be es-ES.jar and es-ES.manifest

RPMozley, I see you have TB 2 and 3.1 for PPC. Have you ever tried to apply the patches from TenFourFox on the 10.0.5 code and build with that a Thunderbird 10.0.5 for PPC? (I don't have a PPC-Mac, I'm only interested to hear if this would work, in theory it should, with some comm-adjustment).

Hi again Nomis101. No I've not tried that yet, I might think about doing it sometime though. The only problem is I don't have a Tiger PPC machine anymore to actually test the thing is working. I'm a little wary about opening that up to the public, if it does turn out to be terribly buggy.

I think you're looking for Tenfourbird: http://en.sourceforge.jp/projects/tenfourbird/

Ah, me too, I also don't have a PPC machine anymore. But last night I had this idea with the TenFourFox code and was curious if this would work. Because than it would also be possible to include new features too (e.g. the new Australis look).

Oh, interesting. Nice to know that this works. But this is "only" a normal PPC build than and not a "RPMozley optimized" build.
