Lucky you, it just crashes to desktop on my end.
Hope dies penultimate. What remains till the end is sarcasm. And I have plenty of it.

It only crashes if you open a Save File dialog before downloading.

It's still usable but:
1. Whenever I try to download something it crashes
2. If I try to change the default download location it crashes
3. Trying to import bookmarks from my Windows 7 nightly install, it crashes every time
4. My bookmarks aren't appearing in the bookmarks sidebar

Re: Anyone using Nightly on Windows 8 Consumer Preview?
I just used mozbackup like always to restore my nightly profile on this W8 CP install and so far only problem is the crash on download which i see will be fixed tomorrow so looking good so far.
PS:On a browser game im playing there are some input boxes and buttons on a line that fit the space given with nightly on windows 7.On windows 8 tho not sure why they seem to be slightly longer and the last box or button just swaps on the next line below the other ones which kinda looks bad(the input box is on first line and the button to search is on second line far left).Edges look more sharp than on windows 7(they are kinda rounded).Maybe that has something to do with the change of space for stuff. Not a big deal, but just wanted to point this out.
PS2:It seems java wont start with nightly, but it works ok with chrome.

I hit that bug last night too.. I just updated to the hourly today and its fixed now by https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=731170. I also didn't install flash.. forgot.. and I started watching movies embedded on Engadget and Youtube and I didn't even realize it was HTML5 based till I right clicked on one.

I didn't even know it started on the 26th, I had copied that file over to WCP and tried to install it, and update it and I thought that maybe WCP API was changed.. not thinking that Nightly had a bug. It was so weird.. You could download a file but then it would disappear.

Pleasantly surprised, nearly all of my problems have been fixed. It works exactly the same as my Windows 7 install apart from bookmarks not showing up in the bookmarks sidebar.
