Emoticon is not showing since 0309 build. I guess it is due to #705594 [Core:Graphics]-optimize system font fallback [All] which is included in the respin. You need to have either font Symbola/Quivira/DeJaVu Sans/etc. installed in order to show them.
Is it intentional or a bug? The previous behaviour is a big plus of Firefox over other browsers IMO.

I'm not seeing the new button in about:support to migrate to a new profile (#717070) in the latest hourly build.

OK, pal-moz the reason it wasn't working for me is because I run the nightly as a portable. If I install it it works fine. Any ideas on how to make it work with a portable version?

nothing to do with portable (USB memory ?)/install, I think.
I use zip build, and no problem.

From what I understand, reading the above posts, the new Profile reset in about:support is only in the hourlies.

As Hank mentioned, maybe it'll land on the Nightly tomorrow (later today, now).

Am I misunderstanding something? :?

not in 0309 Nightly and respin.

will be in 0310 Nightly.

Yes, but zip builds don't have self-contained profiles like portable apps do. So your zip build is just using a profile in a regularly installed place, e.g. "Documents & Setiings" in XP. So of course that would work just like doing a regular install.

Still it shouldn't make any difference. The portable installation has a profile folder of its own.

BTW what happened to the new about:home ?

Shouldn't maybe, but it does. I even used a brand new portable test and it does not work, but if I install it it works fine.
