Thunderbird 11
Where is Thunderbird 11? It states here https://wiki.mozilla.org/Releases#Thunderbird_11 that Thunderbird 11 is suppose to move to Release stage on March 13th 2012. But I've been hitting the "Check Update" button ever hour and still no Update.

Because I prefer to us only Release Channels. And the UI of Thunderbird 11 is garbage. The AeroGlass takes up too much space on my netbook. Reading blog posts and bug reports its understood by me that Thunderbird 11 has a more compact UI, sorta similar to the current Firefox.
And I'm also hoping that Thunderbird 11 will resolve the Account Folder issues I've been having. I can not get 1 account to stop loading Labels from gmail. I have 3 other gmail account setup in Thunderbird 10, and they are working as wanted. But that one account seems to want to do what it wants.

Re: Thunderbird 11
The March 13 date was a date set for the 11.0 releases for a while now as a best case scenario date. It was always very possible to have a delay as is the case.

The merge was performed today as scheduled, thus comm-central is on TB 14.0 now and TB 11.0 is on comm-release. They're just holding back with the release builds in anticipation of possible problems with today's Windows updates and some zero-day exploit (which turned out to have been covered already, though).

Well, if they haven't pushed anything to the mirrors yet you won't get an update offered, naturally...
Just wait, eventually it will come (but unlikely today given that the chief release engineer is located in the UK and they are sleeping there right now).

Any idea how to put the tabs below the toolbars? Firefox has a context menu for controlling this. The browser preference doesn't work for Thunderbird.

Re: Thunderbird 11
That's not a configuration option, per explicit design decision of the developers involved. See bug 724213 for the respective request and discussion.
The current workaround is to install TB 10.0.3 ESR instead which is targeted towards enterprise users but can be used by anybody. It's basically a feature-frozen version of 10.0 which continues to receive security and stability updates until the regular releases hit TB 19.0 or so. It's an alternative for users who don't like the 11+ layout redesign and/or won't need any new features and prefer to stick with a feature-stable version for a while.

Not an option.

That would be nice, but mine looks like this, and I'm happy with it.
