Re: Security Certificate Warning?
Just to update a bit, really don't understand what's going on:
"Revocation information for the security certificate for this site is not available. Do you want to proceed"
I view the certificate and it is:
Issued to: javadl-esd.secure.oracle.com
Issed by: USERTrust Legacy Secure Sever CA
Valid from: 11/01/2012 to: 10/01/2013

What are the OCSP settings?
Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Encryption: Certificates > Validation:
[X] "Use the Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) to confirm the current validity of certificates"
[X] "Validate a certificate if it specifies an OCSP server"
[ ] "When an OCSP server connection fails, treat the certificate as invalid"

Re: Security Certificate Warning?
Thanks for your help guys, after a bit of testing, uninstalling stuff to see if it happens again, I've narrowed it down to java, if i uninstall java the problem stops, I've uninstalled java 32bit and 64bit then just installed 64but and the problem has gone, do i need 32bit if i have the 64bit version installed on a 64bit operating system?

The solution to this problem is to disable "Auto Update for Java". Go to Control Panel- Java- Update- Unchecked the chekc for Updates Automatically- Never.
It works for me on all of my labs...good luck!

That may work for you on IE. However, Firefox blocks use of vulnerable Java releases.
