The Official Win32 20120330 builds are out

Post by Peter(6) »

announcement march 22, 2012:
Ladies and gentlemen,
I've been doing the nightly build threads now for just over 8 years and I've decided I'll retire from this voluntary "job" at the last day of this month. I've done my share and it's time for someone younger (I'm almost 55) to try and keep up with the daily changes to all the builds. We've come a long way since I started and without all your help Firefox would not be what it is today.

If you wish the work to be continued then don't look at others, but like me, take it yourself.
If you need any assistance you can PM me.

thank you,
Peter

(volunteers: #1 RedFlames ...)

Do you see an odd line between the toolbar and content at https://login.yahoo.com/ ? Yahoo!'s [poor] design apparently.

It's a part of the webpage, visible in Chrome also.

Why do mozdevs ignore the Add-ons manager scrolling issues?
It's glitchy and not smooth at all, if you have smooth scrolling enabled.
Especially, if your browser's window is big and especially if you have some CSS styles, that allow to display more extensions in the window of the same size.
The reason is well known - it's border radius that slows scrolling down greatly.
I wrote a small style to remove border-radius from all the elements in AOM and the scrolling is now super fast and super smooth for me.

Doesn't like -moz-border-radius on my Fx14

Something wrong in this page? Text box labelling is odd. It renders fine in IE: http://forms.enfield.gov.uk/swiftlg/apa ... ia.display

Well, that's okay:
I wrote -moz-border-radius for versions before 13 and border-radius for 13 and higher.

Having lurked a few bugs about Addon manager scrolling issues in the past, lets just say that the UX team decided that prettiness is more important than performance and their opinions have more weight inside MoCo.

Hmm confirmed, the pages don't load for me. I mean the page itself does, but not the images for the manga.

Are there supposed to be images?
