Whenever I'm on a page with "automatic updates" in the comments section (e.g. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2 ... ullen.html, and also at CNN) the whole page jumps while I'm reading (and I lose my place) even though I have "Prevent sites from changing, moving or resizing windows" check marked in the Web Features preference. I'm guessing that must mean then to prevent windows from jumping all over the screen, so is there a way to prevent the *contents* of a window from jumping?

Re: Jumping page
You could turn off JavaScript, or block scripts specifically for that site, but that'll (obviously) break the auto-updating comments. If you don't care about the comments, it's probably a worthwhile solution, though.

Oh, and by the way, please don't do that. One thread -- ideally a new thread like this one, since this is a new problem you're having -- is perfectly sufficient. You definitely do NOT need to update every thread you've ever posted in with the new issue.

I won't. But in this case I posted there (both of them) first before being made aware that I should post it as a new topic.
