Talking win64-x86_64, you mean. They have been there for 64-bit Linux and Mac OSX already for quite a while.

Yes, 64 bit Windows builds are generated for Thunderbird now, but these have no guarantees on them, and they may break at any time, more so that the 32 bit builds. Just like Firefox with the recent discussion on mozilla.dev.planning, we'd like most of our users to stick with testing the Win 32 builds as that's what we ship. I suspect Win 64 support may ramp up a bit more towards the end of the year, start of next, but that's just a guess.

From TB-planning:
We've now switched the Thunderbird comm-central builders to the new automation. Although we've currently got bustage on the tree, we took the added risk as we need to get the switch completed by next week.

Linux and Windows builders should be the same currently, however Mac is now doing its builds on 10.7 although with the 10.6 sdk so they are backwards compatible. Please keep an eye out for issues on trunk.

I'm hoping that we'll be switching comm-aurora probably on Tuesday.

What's different:

No tinderbox view anymore
Nightly builds are going straight to the new aus server. Only those with the update urls set to the new server will get updates, so if you're on an old Daily build it may take two updates to get to the latest build.

I have been AFK for most of the last weekend, hence the checkin postings are a bit behind.

No idea why you'd want to do that for a url change. It only affects where you pick up updates and will be seamless to almost everyone.

With the New automation setup, there is no longer a Tinderbox view.
