3 finger swipe
Three finger down/up swipe would be nice to select Previous Tab/Next Tab.

What gesture is Safari using these days for that action? We talked about this back in 2009, but at the time "rotate" was the gesture du jour and Safari explicitly didn't support it. (See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=503455 for details.)

I'm using up/down 3 finger swipe in OmniWeb and iCab. Safari doesn't respond to any 3 finger swipe, well not the version on Snow Leopard (5.1.5).

File a bug on that -- I'm 99% sure we don't have one at the moment -- and we'll look into it. I agree it'd be useful (although I never really liked rotate as a gesture).
